While searching through MC5 info, I came across this song called "City Thang", and I could not believe that I had not heard of this band before... With the same type of POP shit that has been played for the past 15 years, The 'Copters were fresh, unique and had an original sound unlike the feces of today... The music was going in and out of power riffs, power riffs with what sounds to be double lead guitars unless studio editing needs to take credit;.. The 'copters aren't just making music, their making Anthems, similiarly of what Alice Cooper does and what Twisted Sis. tries to ape.... I'm 47 yrs old, love hard rock, have all my life, work in the mainstream, wife, kids, house, 2 cars, no mortgage, everything seems to be normal... Why haven't any major int'l labels picked these guys up and made a piss pot full of money??? With a name like "the Hellacopters", resurrection of Fan Club, Copter Cruises, Copter Casino Nights, Copter Picnics, should be in the works and netting major coin, but more importantly, giving the youth of today a fresh feel from the world of music.... Sorry, too much to say.... Too little time... thanks C.L.
